More Photos from Duck River

Duck River Rocks!
Had a wonderful time at Duck River today for open practice. Prices were more than reasonable, facilities are looking wonderful (they've been working hard all winter and it shows!), and the staff and other drivers were awesome. My husband and I both spent several years in The South before we met, and after a few decades, we are finally back home to stay. Loving that Red Dirt!
Here are some photos. It will take me a while to post them. Also, I'm not that great with the action shots yet, so even though I took several hundred pictures, not all of them are actually ready for Prime Time. BTW, if any of these photos are of your car, let me (Karla) know if you would like a print or a .jpg for your website/FaceBook.

K & D Racing Has Moved to TN
We've left the desert and moved 2,200 miles east to Middle Tennessee.
The 2012 racing season in Nevada was a frustrating season filled with missed starts and DNF's due to National Guard obligations and moving preparations. We are looking forward to the 2013 season in The South. We are looking at the following tracks to be our home town tracks:
But even these aren't that far away
We are, of course, mourning the closure of the Nashville Superspeedway. But according to Middle TN Racing Scene, it looks like NASCAR drivers are renting track time on a semi-regular bases, so maybe there is hope that they won't let the weeds take over. That puts Bristol as our only TN NASCAR racetrack, with Memphis having also succumbed to the economy.

Heat 2 Line-up Photos

I didn't realize that they don't let people on the ramp any more, so I got mildly in trouble for taking these pictures. Still, I understand the safety and insurance issues, and they were not asses about it - but it probably means I won't get such pictures again. If one of these cars is yours, let me know. If you link to us and let us put a link to your site, I will probably let you use the photo. Great racing with you, Ladies and Gents. (OK, yes, I don't actually do the racing - David Sr. does - but after all the video taping and editing, I am at least part of the team!)
